Smoothie ideas to keep you fueled this holiday season

When you don't have time to sit down and cook your food, let alone eat, you need a quick, easy meal to prepare.

This is why I am sharing these Super Smoothie recipe ideas.

This isn't your traditional protein smoothie, but a whole food shake with easily digestible foods that cover all the macro requirements for a healthy meal.

All you need is a good blender (Vitamix, Magic Bullet, or Nutra-ninja) and a cup with a lid for when you're on the go, or you want to save it for later.

The protein powder I use can be found by Clicking HERE – feel free to use what brand you like, but if you are looking to try a clean, efficient powder, that is easy on your stomach not filled with preservatives and additives, this is the one.

I enjoy both the vanilla and chocolate flavours.

Salted Caramel

- 1 Cup Coconut Milk

- 3 pitted dates - 1 scoop vanilla protein - 1 pinch of sea salt - 1 frozen banana

- 1 scoop of Isagenix Greens

- Ice

Fat Boy Slim - 1 Cup Almond Milk - 1 Serving vanilla protein - 1 Serving of flax seed - 1 Serving Almond Butter - 1/2 Avocado - 1 handful of spinach leaves

- 1 scoop of Isagenix Greens

Andes Mint - 1 Cup Coconut Milk - 1 Serving of vanilla protein - 1/4 cup of mint (start with just a quarter cup, blend and add more if needed) - 3 pitted dates - 1 serving cocoa powder - 1 serving/handful spinach leaves - 1 frozen banana

American Pie - 1 Cup almond milk - 1 Serving vanilla protein - Dash of cinnamon - 1 serving almond butter - 1 Apple (cored) - 1 Serving spinach

Almond Butter and Biceps - 1 Cup almond milk - 1.5 frozen bananas - 1 Serving chocolate protein powder - 2 Servings/handfuls of spinach - 1.5 Servings of almond butter

- 1 scoop of Isagenix Greens

NOTE - All shakes where I don't add actual greens, I always supplement with Isagenix Greens- I never go a day without taking them.

Enjoy and if you give one of all of these a try let me know what you think or post on your socials tagging @positiveimagefitness on Instagram or FB.
