I want to be completely real with you...
The reason you're stuck isn't the food.
It isn't the workouts.
It isn't your consistency, your willpower, or your age.
It's that you're solving the wrong problem.
Most approaches treat every woman over 40 the same way.
Cut the calories.
Add the cardio.
Push through.
And when it doesn't work... which it won't, not long-term... the assumption is you didn't try hard enough.
But there are actually three separate reasons a woman's body stops responding after 40.
And the fix for each one looks completely different.
Problem 1 - Your metabolism has adapted.
Years of restriction have trained your body to survive on less. It slowed down to protect you.
And now, eating less is literally the thing keeping you stuck.
You can't restrict your way out of a system that has adapted to restriction.
Problem 2 - Your hormones are out of sync.
Estrogen, progesterone, cortisol, insulin... they're all shifting.
And when they're disrupted, fat storage goes up (especially in the belly), sleep falls apart, energy crashes, and mood follows.
No amount of clean eating fixes a hormonal environment your body is fighting against.
Problem 3 - You're treating one when it's actually both.
This is the most common mistake. Most coaches pick a lane, metabolism or hormones, and prescribe the same plan to everyone.
But for the majority of women over 40, it's both. And the order you address them matters.
The way out isn't harder. It's more specific.
Step 1 is diagnosis - figuring out which of the three is your actual lead issue.
Step 2 is rebuilding - addressing it in the right order, with the right inputs for your body.
Step 3 is sustaining - building the structure around you so this isn't another thing that works for 8 weeks and falls apart.
