Sweet Tooth??

Today we are switching it up and I am posting a recipe for you. I know that over the past few months peoples eating habits have slipped, more sugar has crept into their diets with sweets, refined carbs and alcohol, so I wanted to give you a super easy and quick snack recipe to have in place of that cookie.

Now, this recipe does not have protein powder in it for an added protein boost, but I could definitely be added and I would recommend a chocolate flavour.

They’re perfect for enjoying after a workout, or as an after-practice treat for your kids’ sports teams (as long as no one on the team has a tree nut allergy, of course).

Almonds are a source of magnesium, fiber, protein, antioxidants, vitamin E, and healthy fats, so you can feel good about popping a couple of these gems into your mouth.

The dates as the natural glue that holds this marvelous sweet and healthy concoction together, you’ll get even more added health benefits.

Enjoy this recipe and if you find that you need a bit more help getting your nutrition back under control then keep your eyes open for my NEW 10 day detox program starting Sept 16th.
